YOUR STUDY GUIDE

Tuition fees and living costs

Plan for tuition, housing and everyday expenses before you apply.

Tuition fees

Each university sets its own fees. Check the price for your specific English-taught program, intake and applicant status before applying.

Study.gov.pl gives a general range of €2,000–€6,000 per year, with MBA programs around €8,000–€12,000. Its indicative annual figures also include €2,000 for first-, second- and long-cycle studies, €3,000 for postgraduate study and certain specialist internships, and €2,000 for a preparatory Polish-language course. These figures are guidance, not guaranteed prices; some programs cost more.

Eligible students, including EU/EEA citizens, may study full-time in Polish at public universities without tuition fees. This does not automatically make English-taught courses free.

Living costs

Budget separately for housing, food, transport, insurance, bills and personal spending. Study.gov.pl lists €330–€430 per month as a low-cost example. Do not treat it as a guaranteed budget for 2026.

The University of Warsaw’s Welcome Point suggests around PLN 3,000–5,000 per month in Warsaw, depending on your needs and lifestyle. Compare current dormitory or rental prices in your chosen city and allow extra money for a deposit, travel and initial purchases.
